“I would not be here today without your help and guidance. Now, I have goals, dreams, and something to live for.”
~Amanda
AHHH, the world of couples relationships. How wonderful they can be and how difficult all at the same time. When working with a couple the approach is always one that fits each one as an individual and the couple as a whole. We may combine a mixture of emotionally focused therapy work alongside individual reflection. Or, together we may look back at your families of origin and patterns that exist which may be tripping you up.
Couples work may address concerns related to intimacy, trust, betrayal, communication skills, or feelings of disconnection. Perhaps you have a blended family with challenges of being a step parent. Or maybe, you’ve reached the end of the road. At Redwood, we bring all of our training and experiences to the table and provide you with an open and accepting place to talk about your relationship and your needs.
At Redwood, we provide the added benefit of two co-therapy sessions when purchasing the package of 10 sessions. The benefits of co-therapy are:
- It is often said that, “two heads are better than one.” You experience the perspectives of two therapists at no additional fee
- Fresh ideas are often developed when co-therapy is added to your sessions
Co-therapy opens up an opportunity offered in few practices. When working with couples, co-therapy becomes an integral feature during the fifth and final sessions of the 10 session package.
